Mount Buninyong was designed for daily café service, then refined to extract cleanly and consistently on Prosumer equipment as well as home machines like Breville, Sunbeam and DeLonghi.

We roast over 2 Tonne of Mount Buninyong blend every month. It has won Gold, Silver & Bronze at the Royal Tasmanian Fine Food Awards, Silver and Bronze at the Golden Bean, and Bronze at the Adelaide Fine Food Awards.
The Brazilian component is Nossa, a coffee built in partnership with SOS Mata Atlântica to fund reforestation of the Atlantic Forest biome in Brazil. Every bag you buy directly supports replanting one of the most important ecosystems on earth. Good coffee doing good work.

Every bag is roasted to order at our Wendouree roastery and dispatched within 2 days. The roasted on date is printed on the bag.
The coffee is ready to brew as soon as it arrives and is at its best over the following 4 to 6 weeks. Keep it sealed, out of the light and away from heat.
Around Ballarat we deliver on our own local runs. Everywhere else goes by Australia Post. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
I've been brewing and enjoying Karon Farm's Mount Buninyong blend for a number of years now. Recently I recommissioned and recalibrated my ROK hand grinder as well as deploying an accurate scale to measure exactly 20grams, so tamping pressure and brewing time are consistently repeatable, the shot taste is perfect to the last sip, and the discarded coffee pucks are spot on! I've been enjoying Karon Farm Buninyong Blend coffee beans for quite some time, up until now my daily ritual of grinding the beans with an electric burr grinder and brewing my coffee with my La Pavoni Professional Espresso Machine resulting in the rewarding silky smooth taste. Well anyway lately the taste wasn't quite right, so deduced that my ageing 25 year old electric grinder was past its best, so resurrected and reacquainted myself with my ROK manual grinder and Bingo, the silky smooth taste returned instantly, all the way to the last sip! This is my absolute go to blend. Full flavoured but still easy to drink. Never makes a bland tasting coffee. Highly recommended.
We highly recommend Karon Farm’s Mount Buninyong Blend and have been using it to make our cappuccino life savers on a daily basis. I am not a barista but can produce consistent flavour and texture that we enjoy. Once dialled in, each batch just requires minimal grinding adjustments as the weather changes during the day or from day to day.

I love all the blends, but I especially enjoy this one as a long black. It grinds and extracts perfectly in my coffee machine, and I always get a lovely, creamy crema. Delicious!
