Drop your machine at Wendouree. It gets serviced on the same bench, by the same tech, with the same parts stock that keeps cafe machines running seven days a week across central and western Victoria.

Serviced properly, a good machine lasts decades. Most of the ones we see were let go, not worn out.

What a scheduled service covers

• Full strip, inspection and pressure check
• New group seal and shower screen
• Anti-vac valve rebuild
• Steam and hot water tap check, rebuilt if needed
• Descale assessment and chemical backflush
• Reassembled, run in and dialled before it goes back to you
• Straight advice on the water and filtration your machine needs

From $275 including GST. Dual boiler and lever machines take longer and are quoted on inspection. Anything beyond the scheduled scope, a failed pump, a leaking boiler, a dead solenoid, gets quoted and approved before work starts.

Prosumer espresso machines

E61, heat exchanger and dual boiler machines including Rocket, ECM, Profitec, Expobar, Vibiemme, Izzo, Rancilio, Sanremo, and the La Marzocco Linea Mini, Micra and GS3.

Grinders

Prosumer and commercial grinders, including Mazzer, Mahlkönig, Anfim, Compak, Mythos and the EK43. Servicing covers inspection, full clean, burr assessment and calibration.

What we don't service

Parts and factory support for these are hard to get, and the repair usually costs more than the machine is worth. Your best path is the retailer you bought it from, or the brand's Australian service agent.

How often should you service?

For most home machines, every 12 to 18 months. Book yearly if any of these apply.

• More than around 10 shots a day, or it lives in an office
• Unfiltered tank water, or no filtration on a plumbed machine
• A dual boiler, lever, or a pressure profiling machine

Leave it too long and the seals perish, the parts that should be lubricated wear against each other, and a $275 service turns into a parts bill.

How it works

   Send an enquiry

   Tell us the machine, the model and what it is doing. We will confirm we can service it before anything else happens.

2. 02
   We confirm a drop-off day

   No deposit and nothing to pay to hold the slot. We will email you a day and a time window.

3. 03
   Drop off at Wendouree

   Shed 5, 10 Builders Close, Wendouree. Drop-offs are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.30pm. We are open Fridays, but there is no tech on the bench, so anything dropped on a Friday does not get started until Monday. Bring the machine with its water tank and drip tray.

4. 04
   We inspect, then quote anything extra

   The scheduled service is from $275 including GST. If it needs more than that, you get a quote and you approve it before a spanner goes near it.

5. 05
   Collect and pay

   We will email you when it is ready, usually inside 7 working days. Pay on collection.

Before you drop off

• Empty the water tank, then put it back in the machine
• Bring the tank and the drip tray. We will ask again, so bring them
• If it is set to plumbed-in mode, switch it back to tank mode
• Give it a token clean. Nobody needs to meet three weeks of your milk
• Leave the extras at home. No portafilters, tank covers or cup guards, just the machine, the tank and the tray
