Lighter. Cleaner. Sweetly balanced.

Lal Lal Falls is our medium-light blend with a cleaner profile and gentle sweet acidity. Designed for those who enjoy clarity in the cup without losing structure.

Caramel and milk chocolate lead the flavour, supported by smooth sweetness and a refined mouthfeel. A subtle hint of stone fruit adds lift while keeping the finish composed.

It delivers balance and sweetness in a lighter expression, making it ideal for long blacks while still remaining smooth and subtle in milk.

Consistent year-round. Balanced and reliable, with a lighter touch.

Frequently asked questions

What is Lal Lal Falls Blend?
Lal Lal Falls is our medium to light blend, with a cleaner profile and gentle sweet acidity. It is for people who want clarity in the cup without losing structure.
What does Lal Lal Falls Blend taste like?
Caramel and milk chocolate lead, with smooth sweetness and a subtle hint of stone fruit. Medium acidity, medium body and a clean, composed finish.
What roast level is Lal Lal Falls?
Medium to light, and 8 out of 10 for strength on our own 1 to 10 scale. It is the lightest roast in our range.
How do I dial in Lal Lal Falls?
For a double espresso, 20g in and 42g out in 27 to 30 seconds at 94°C.
What machines does Lal Lal Falls suit?
Home machines including Breville, Sunbeam, DeLonghi and Ninja, and it works in automatic machines. It suits the same espresso machines as the rest of our range, and being our lightest roast it is the one we would pick for filter, pourover or Moccamaster.
Can I get Lal Lal Falls ground, or is it whole bean?
Both. Choose whole bean, or ground for espresso, stovetop, Aeropress, filter and Moccamaster, or French press.
What sizes does Lal Lal Falls come in?
250g, 500g and 1kg.
Where does the coffee in Lal Lal Falls come from?

What is Lal Lal Falls best for?
Long blacks especially, where the clarity shows. It also works as espresso, in milk based coffees and through drip filter.
How is Lal Lal Falls different from Mount Buninyong?
Lal Lal Falls is lighter and cleaner, medium to light roast with gentle sweet acidity. Mount Buninyong is medium dark, heavier and more chocolate driven. Choose Lal Lal Falls if you want clarity, Mount Buninyong if you want body.
How is Lal Lal Falls different from Morning Habit?
Both sit at 8 out of 10 for strength, so the difference is roast and how you brew. Lal Lal Falls is our lightest roast, cleaner and more delicate, and it is the one to pick for filter, pourover or Moccamaster. Morning Habit is a touch darker with more cocoa, caramel and red berry, built first for espresso and milk. If you drink long blacks and filter, go Lal Lal Falls. If you drink flat whites, go Morning Habit.
